Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how C & W YLIFE E-COMMERCE TRADING CORP. ("YLife," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on cwylife.com. By continuing to browse our website, you acknowledge this policy and the choices available to you under Philippine law.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device — whether a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone — when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language, items in your cart, or pages you have viewed. Cookies do not contain viruses and cannot access other files on your device.
Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for cwylife.com to function. Without them, core features such as the shopping cart, secure checkout, and session management would not work. Because they are required for the site to operate, they cannot be disabled. Examples include cookies that maintain your login session and those that support our 3-D Secure payment page — the same page through which we process Visa and Mastercard transactions without storing any card data on our servers.
Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website. The data collected is aggregated and anonymous; it tells us, for example, which product pages receive the most traffic or where visitors tend to leave the checkout flow. We use these insights to improve the browsing experience for customers shopping for dishwashers on cwylife.com. You may opt out of analytics cookies at any time through our consent banner.
Advertising Cookies
Advertising cookies allow us to show you relevant YLife promotions on third-party platforms after you have visited cwylife.com. They may also help us limit how often you see the same advertisement. These cookies are placed only with your consent and can be withdrawn at any time.
Your Consent and the Consent Banner
When you first visit cwylife.com, a consent banner will appear at the bottom of your screen. The banner allows you to:
- Accept all cookies;
- Accept essential cookies only; or
- Customise your preferences by category.
Essential cookies are always active. Your choices for analytics and advertising cookies are saved and applied immediately. You may revisit and update your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page on our website.
Managing Cookies Through Your Browser
In addition to our consent banner, most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies directly. The steps vary by browser:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
- Safari (iOS/macOS): Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security
Please note that blocking essential cookies may affect your ability to complete a purchase or use certain features of cwylife.com.
Data Privacy Act of 2012
The collection and processing of any personal data through cookies on cwylife.com is conducted in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and the implementing rules issued by the National Privacy Commission. You have the right to be informed, to object, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
